He is one headstrong little boy. He sure knows what he likes and doesn’t like. Being moved while sleeping is on his “do not like” list, but being cuddled by mommy is definitely on his “likes a whole lot” list!  He finally slipped into a milk coma and let me move him around – he even gave me a little smile! One year ago, I was called to Methodist Hospital to photograph a baby who was born still. Upon my arrival, I met the Wheat family. They introduced me to their beautiful baby girl, Peyton. My heart ached for them, and I will never forget the sorrow I felt that day. Fast forward exactly one year to the day later; I received an e-mail that this family was expecting their second daughter, due any day. Sweet baby Maya was born the very next day, exactly one year and one day after her sister. What an amazing story! I get chills every time I think of them! I am deeply honored to introduce Maya Estelle…

Little Alek was putty in my hands! He slept through the first hour of shooting whithout so much as a peep. He even let me try on several different hats – what a trooper! He’s a little sneak peek from his session…

Oh what a sweetheart little Graham is! He was putty in my hands for the first hour, and let me do all sorts of fun poses. I just love photographing newborns that are so new.

Little Olivia is 6.5 weeks old and has the cutest chubber checks and squishy lips ever. We sure worked her hard today, but just look at the results.

Little Miss Jacquelyn surprised her entire family and arrived five weeks early! She’s hovering around the 5 lb mark, making her my smallest newborn to date. She is also the happiest newborn I’ve had the pleasure of photography, as she smiled repeatedly throughout the session.

I met Lilly 6 months ago at her newborn session. Boy, has she changed! She can sit on her own, she has two teeth already and the chubbiest little legs ever! She was a good sport and let us change her into some fun outfits and even this fun striped hat. What a sweetheart!

…at least that’s what mommy calls her. This is little Abby. She was my very first newborn of 2008 and now look at her; what a cutie! Her little personality and sweet disposition certainly won me over.
